BARCELONA: "C'mon... pick-pocketing is just FINE"
Every famous city has their share of pick-pockets to give the tourists a really "unforgettable" holiday.
And in this league... Barcelona will not at all be upsetting.
Tourists are the main targets for these hand-experts. It is more like a game in which the pick-pockets are the predators while the tourists are their preys.
In the past few years, the actions taken by the police for these crimes have stricken. But unfortunately, it is not so in Barcelona.
Pickpockets go around busy streets searching for easy pockets and don't fear the presence of any nearby cop.
When asked "WHY?" to an expert pickpocket, "it is just 3 days in prison and then you are free to go", came a care-free answer.
As far as I am concerned, PICK-POCKETING is not an impressive occupation nor is it healthy for a nation. Rules should be more severe than just "..3 days in jail.". A rule that could keep their hands mannered at the most!
